Permanent Jewelry

LINKED FAQ
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Permanent Jewelry is applied with a welder that allows fragile metals to be welded together in a fraction of a second. The quick spark welds together a jump ring that replaces the need for a clasp (clasp-less jewelry) after the client has been sized for the appropriate amount of slack. The spark that is generated during this process is NOT of high temperature allowing for quick & safe application. Although this spark is visible for a millisecond, protective eyeglasses are strongly encouraged by the provider.
DOES IT HURT?
NO! The customer will not feel a thing as we are working with the metal - not the customer's skin! There is absolutely no risk to the customer as the welder will only react to metal. With our machine, should the customer's skin come in contact with the weld point, the electrode will not generate a spark.
CAN IT BE REMOVED?
The chains applied during this process are thin enough to last but not thick enough to cause harm to the wearer in the event that it becomes caught on an object. If they need to be removed for any reason…simply snip with a pair of scissors. Should the customer wish to remove the jewelry for any reason, it can always be re-welded.
DOES IT REQUIRE ANY MAINTENANCE?
This jewelry can undergo months of wear without needing to be cleansed but to maintain the integrity of the link - aftercare can be used to remove debris or build-up.
WHERE CAN’T I WEAR IT?
TSA - Travelers are permitted to wear real jewelry through airport security without issue.
SURGERY - There are situations where the jewelry may need to be removed for a medical procedure, in this event, the jewelry can be re-welded so long as it is properly removed.
WILL IT LAST FOREVER?
While Permanent Jewelry will stand the test of time & is designed for everyday wear…it is not invincible. It is still FINE jewelry.
